Jin Mi S. Williams

Director of Operations

Jin Mi S. Williams is a seasoned veteran of the beauty industry, having spent over two decades perfecting her craft. Her career began as a professional makeup artist, working on film, television, and magazine sets in both Florida and New York. Jin Mi received expert training under celebrity makeup artists, Leslie Christin (owner of Cara Cosmetics in Winter Park, FL) and Selena Miller, who has worked on films such as Selma, The Hunger Games, and Batman.

Throughout her career, Jin Mi has held various roles with major cosmetic companies, including Estée Lauder, Yves St. Laurent, Nars Cosmetics, Lancome, and Benefit Cosmetics, where she served as a Regional Trainer in New York. She is licensed in four states in Paramedical Esthetics, and her husband's military career has taken her all over the country, where she successfully built a loyal client base through her exceptional marketing, networking, and social media advertising skills.

Jin Mi finally settled in Olympia, WA, and established her first business, Miss Priss Lash and Brow, LLC, in 2013. Miss Priss Lash and Brow is a salon and spa that employs a team of ten professionals and offers a wide range of beauty services, including lash and brow services, facials, body waxing, and permanent makeup. Jin Mi also works with beauty colleges in the surrounding areas, offering externship programs to students to help them gain "real world" job experience.

In 2022, Jin Mi opened her second business, Miss Priss Lash and Brow Academy, which is an online and "in person" academy focused on application techniques and business consulting for current professionals, business owners, or students enrolled in a recognized WA State Board of Cosmetology Beauty School with studies in Cosmetology and Esthetics. The academy offers education on basic business practices for opening a salon or running a more efficient one.

Jin Mi recognized the significant growth in the interest of lash extensions and brow services and, after seeing the challenge it posed for potential students interested in these courses, decided to open her own esthetics school. She saw an opportunity to create a solution to the problem that could benefit both students and the community. As a result, Jin Mi is now opening a Skincare School that will not only certify students under experienced instructors in lash and brow services but also offer a full esthetics program that will license students in WA State.

Moving forward, Jin Mi is dedicated to working with the community and other organizations to bring awareness to the services they offer, how they have helped her, and what she is doing to give back. By putting Olympia back on the map as a trusted city for those looking to go into the Esthetics profession, Jin Mi is not just overcoming challenges; she is creating opportunities.
